On Wednesday, 10 September 2025 in Barcelona, during Fastmarkets Conference Week, BATHCO will host a Working Lunch in partnership with CarbonChain. The session brings together leaders from across the Aluminium value chain, including suppliers, major customers, banks, and ESG advisers, to address a key question: Can Renewable Electricity Certificates (RECs) unlock credible Green Aluminium premiums?

We will examine REC credibility, Scope 2 emissions accounting, and the gap between carbon rules and real contract negotiations. The aim is to surface practical, commercially workable steps that are environmentally sound and help scale access to Green Aluminium.
